Lesson 13 Quiz Due Today!
Be sure to submit your lesson 13 quiz by the end of the day today.
Extending Invitations
The holiday season is a great time to get together with friends and family. We can extend invitations using verb endings like ~ませんか, ~ましょう and ~ましょうか
The ~ましょうか and ~ませんか endings are used to *ask* someone to do something:
- えいが に いきませんか。(Won't you go to the movies?)
- テレビゲーム を しましょうか。 (Shall we play video games?)
The ~ましょう ending means "let's" and is used when making a suggestion:
- すし を たべましょう。 (Let’s eat sushi.)
