Project Graduation Permission Forms - Deadline Thursday!

Registration Now Open!

All SENIORS are INVITED to attend PROJECT GRADUATION 2017 at Film Alley in Weatherford. This drug- and alcohol-free event following graduation is from 12:00am-5:30am. This event is provided FREE of charge to ALL SENIORS through generous contributions from our Weatherford parents, community organizations and businesses. Seniors will enjoy a night of bowling, movies, arcade games, dancing, prize games, and more! Also, LOTS of food and great prizes!

All seniors MUST REGISTER to attend this event (registration form). Unfortunately, due to the per person cost and the need to provide an accurate headcount for food, etc., there will be NO WALKUP REGISTRATIONS accepted.

The final day to turn in registration forms is Thursday, MAY 18th. Please return completed registration forms to Peggy Vance in the WHS Main Office.

WHS Advanced Musical Theatre Class - Just Peachy!

The WHS Advanced Musical Theatre class has been working all year to plan and produce their own musical. Every bit of the show is student led, including the direction and music direction! They will be performing a musical based on Roald Dahl's beloved classic, James and the Giant Peach.

ATPI Imagemaker Team Named

Please congratulate WHS sophomore Jack French on being included in the Association of Texas Photography Instructors Top 10 Imagemaker team for the third year in a row.
  • Texas Imagemaker selections are based on awards students have received in local, state and national photography contests throughout the school year.

Roo Student Media Tours Balfour Publishing & Visits Ft Worth Zoo!

The MelonVine Yearbook staff and the WHS GrassBurr Online Newspaper staff toured the Balfour Publishing plant last week. Then followed the educational tour up with a relaxing lunch at the Fort Worth Zoo.

The trip was educational, fun, and well-deserved. Thanks, MelonVine and GrassBurr staffs for all your hard work this year. You ARE the "public relations department" of Weatherford High School. You make US look good!
