Twenty-One Days Down!
We take the ability to understand so many daily activities for granted. Each year, we expect students to become accustomed to a new teacher's standards and personality, learn to follow a new set of rules, return communications and homework, and to acquire new responsibilities. We are so excited that twenty-one days into this school year, our pre-k students have mastered eating in the cafeteria! For most of them this is a major step. Moms are not here to cut food and wipe their faces. We are looking forward to a year of learning many new things with these four-year-olds!
Tips from the Healthroom
Nurse Tracy says:
Flu season is coming! If your child has been sick, please keep them at home until they have no fever for 24 hours. Children running a fever can be contagious. In addition, the child running a fever does not feel like being at school.
It is extremely important that the school has working phone numbers as contacts. If you change phone numbers, please call the office or send a note so this can be changed on the registration card.
Letters have been sent home about updating student's blue immunization cards. Let's get those turned in promptly!
