Wisconsin Forward Exam
Dear Stone Bank Families,
During the months of March and April, Wisconsin students across the state in grades 3rd-8th will be participating in the Forward Exam. The following links provide more information about the Forward Exam:
The Forward Exam assesses students in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics in grades 3rd-8th. Additionally, students in grade 4th and 8th will test in the areas of Science and Social Studies. This online exam measures the knowledge and skills progress of your child in relation to the Wisconsin Academic Standards. Your child’s results on this assessment, in combination with other forms of assessment, help to build a comprehensive understanding of their proficiency towards being college and career ready.
One or more subtests may be administered daily during the following dates:
Third Grade April 12-15
Fourth Grade April 19-23
Fifth Grade April 12-14
Sixth Grade April 12-14
Seventh Grade April 12-14
Eighth Grade April 12-14, and 19-21
Next week our students begin our state assessment, the Forward Exam. Teachers have communicated when these assessments will take place in each class, from grades 3-8. Fueling brains and bodies with a healthy breakfast the morning of the assessment, and ensuring a good night's sleep the night before are two ways you can support a successful testing experience. Please reach out with any questions!
Results from the Forward exam will be distributed to Stone Bank families in August, 2021. If you have any questions about the Forward Exam, please contact Mr. Joseph, Mrs. Wartzenluft, Mrs. Zdrojewski or your child’s teacher.

Stone Bank Track Club
Attention 4th-8th grade families,
The Stone Bank Track Club is available for any students in grades 4-8 to participate. If your child is looking for an activity to get involved in this spring, please consider having him/her join the Track Club.
In Track Club, students get to be part of a team while working on improving individual performance in a variety of running and field events. Participants can choose which events they would like to do. It’s a fun opportunity to get in great shape and gain experience for future participation in Track & Field and/or other sports.
There will be one practice per week at Stone Bank from 2:35-3:45 on Thursdays, starting April 22nd. There will be approximately 3-4 track meets held at Arrowhead High School. See the attached flyer for tentative track meet dates!
A $15 fee, which covers the cost of event entry fees for meets and a team t-shirt, should be turned in before the first practice. After signing up here, you will receive an email with more information, as well as the necessary forms that will need to be completed and turned in by the first practice in April.
