Volunteer Sign Ups
The Event Volunteer Sign Ups are LIVE! Click the link below to sign up for the 5 slot commitment. Our next event is the Indiana Percussion Association (IPA) Invitational on February 12th.
Concert & Winter Bands
Side-by-Side Concert
Wind Symphony members will need to stay after school until the concert is over, about 7:30pm.
Schedule:
3:00p - Wind Symphony rehearsal on stage
3:30p - Combined rehearsal with 8th graders
4:15p - Help set up for dinner, meet with section-mates, change, watch and cheer in auditorium
5:15p - Pizza is served
6:00p - Doors open
6:30p - Concert Begins
We are in need of a couple of volunteers to help serve pizza in the band room! Please contact Connie Moxley @ 317-340-9289 if you're able to help.
PERCUSSION SYMPHONY

We are looking forward to spending the indoor season with 55 students! We are putting together our "Percussion Task Force" team of parents that will assist our students throughout the season. While our initial communication has been shared via Facebook, we hope to have ParentSquare up and running soon. Watch for more information regarding more opportunities to help this week!
Indoor percussion practice schedule for this week:
Tuesday 12/14--NO PRACTICE
Thursday 12/16--6:00-9:00 p.m.
Friday 12/17 (Staging Camp)--5:00-9:00 p.m.
Saturday (Staging Camp)--9 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Students will need to bring their lunch on Saturday and dinner will be provided.

December 21st--Holiday Party!
Candace Wells-Myers is coordinating a holiday party for our kids! This will occur at the conclusion of practice on December 21st. Students will need to bring a wrapped $5-$10 white elephant type gift.

WINTER GUARD

Payments
The first Winter Guard payment was due on December 1st. If you have not made that payment, please process it now. Online payments can be made HERE. Please contact the Treasurer at treasurer@fcbands.org if you need to set up a payment arrangement.

The practice schedule for this week is below. Students must attend every practice. if you have a rare conflict that can’t be avoided, email Adam Faircloth immediately.

• Thursday - 3:30pm to 6:00pm - Annex
• Saturday - 2:00pm to 6:00pm - Annex

Volunteer Background Check
All volunteers are required by Franklin Township Community School Corporation to complete the SafeVisitor background check. Please click the link below and follow the instructions. The cost is $16.00. Be sure to download the app so you can track when your renewal date approaches.

Prop Help Needed
We need your help! We are looking for parents of various skill sets to help with the preparation of props for all three guards. No matter what your skill set, we have a job for you! We need help with design, building, painting, repair work, cleanup, and pushing props at the competition.
The Prop Crew will be working on props the following days this week. Please come help as you have availability.

Other Volunteer Opportunities
Information will be going out soon on other volunteer opportunities. It takes a ton of parent support to make the season successful. We need volunteers to chaperone, collect and prepare snacks, decorate flip flops, help with hair and makeup, and more. Monitor our Weekly Cadence and the parent Facebook group HERE to learn more. Please make sure you have a current background check on file as noted above.
