Strategies to Engage Students and Families in Learning Mathematics

Teachers of all students, particularly underrepresented students, need to be well versed in a variety of instructional strategies that teach concepts and skills at appropriate grade levels, are suitable to overcome any language barriers, relate to the Indiana Process Standards for Mathematics, and lend themselves to family participation. The webinar will focus on five activities for Grades 1 - 5 involving number sense and operations, geometric shapes, and algebraic reasoning.

2021 ICTM & HASTI STATE CONFERENCE (Feb. 6-9)

Jon us for a VIRTUAL Spring 2021 Conference for K-12 mathematics and science teachers. Stay tuned for the platform we will use and the cost of registration. Now accepting speaker proposals; deadline is October 30, 2020. The Conference Team is closely looking at the CDC and State of Indiana guidelines to decide on the safest way to offer this conference.

2021 TODOS CONFERENCE (Jun. 28-30)

The TODOS leadership is excited to announce that we will transition our June 2021 Conference to a virtual conference. The shift to a virtual experience has just begun. We anticipate that many of our accepted speakers will present, our planned activities will be re-shaped, and new sessions and formats will be created to result in engagement and learning for all.
