ENERGY BUS!
Robin Stokes – Robin was nominated by a staff member for all of the wonderful, ideas and suggestions she has brought to her team. Robin has jumped right into life at Stinson without missing a beat….and has also shared her wonderful daughters with third grade and kindergarten. Robin’s enthusiasm for teaching and willingness to share ideas has put her right on the Energy Bus!
Boyd Brooks – Boyd was nominated by several staff members for ALL that he does….from greeting students, by name, every morning to helping teachers with anything they need. Boyd is a true asset to Stinson. Boyd just exudes energy both physical energy (push-ups and cartwheels out front) and positive energy…creating relationships with students and families. For all these reasons and more we are putting Boyd on the Energy Bus
Janet Kaelin – Janet was nominated by members of her team…because she jumped right in to learning everything about 4th grade. They say she has not skipped a beat…and is proving to be a fabulous and natural 4th grade teacher. It was also a HUGE treat for her former 1st grade students and families to know that they could have Janet as a teacher twice in their elementary years. Janet’s flexibility in moving from 1st to 4th was appreciated. Janet can hop right on the Energy Bus
First Grade Team – Michelle wanted to nominate her team for the Energy Bus because they come to work each day with an I CAN and POSITIVE attitude. She said every member of her team is jumping in with new ideas, revamping old ideas and helping each other take things one day at a time. She sees every member of her team building relationships with the students and giving their hearts to each and every first grade students. It is such an amazing thing when new members join a team and the team ends up fitting together so well….Way to go Cathy, Kylee, Melissa and Kelli!

A FEW NOTES FROM THE BIG CHEESE!
Reminders
Remember to have a team member in the hall at 7:30 to help kids get safely to class, apparently being first to your rooms is very important and everyone tries to obtain the honor of being first by sprinting to class.
I 100% love all the relationship building activities I have seen in the building….just amazing. Remember to keep it up throughout the year. Your students always need to know you care.
Remember to follow all SPED accommodations as well as Behavior Intervention Plans. You all signed an agreement that this would happen. If you are having a hard time then let Becky or a member of her fabulous team know and they can help you.
Thanks for a GREAT first two weeks….you all are awesome. Enjoy your long weekend.
