Holiday/Giving Theme

This week we will continue with our "December Holidays/ Giving" Theme! On Monday we will be having "buddy time" with the 4th grade students in the A.M. Class and the 6th grade students in the P.M. Class! On Tuesday we have our holiday party. We will make a holiday craft, play holiday games, and sing songs! I hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing winter break! We will see you back in January! :)

Play Dough

On Tuesday, you will see a small gift in your child's backpack from Mrs. Peterson and I. It is a small bag of play dough with a cookie cutter. We thought this would be a fun activity for during winter break. I also felt this was a good time to share some of the great fine motor benefits of play dough and the recipe I use (in case you want to make more at home).

*Play dough is so much fun for kids and is also a great activity to help strengthen their fine motor skills. Below is a link to an article with some great ideas you can use at home for play dough fine motor activities. I also would like to share my favorite play dough recipe. The link to the recipe I use for 4K class play dough is below underneath the fine motor article link. I find this playdough lasts much longer than the store bought playdough.
