Staff Fun Fact about WAVA Teacher Tami Berry and Daughter Kaya

Why does WAVA Work for you? WAVA teacher Tami Berry enjoys teaching and having the opportunity to watch her daughter ride horses and compete. Her daughter Kaya is a Freshman at WAVA. She has been working with horses for 5 years including mini horses, cart driving, showmanship, barrel racing, and gaming. She is currently in WAHSET, which is the Washington High School Equestrian Team. She competes mainly in gaming, but also does trail, versatility, cow sorting, and shows her mini. She helps her friend with teaching horse riding lessons to young children and often spends over 50+ hours a week at the barn. She is following her passion and being successful as a student at WAVA. As a mom, Mrs. Berry could not be more proud of her for that. Mrs. Berry loves teaching at WAVA and seeing so many students being able to follow their own passions.
