Adding with Decimals
When you add with the decimals you add them as usual but you need to allign the decimal point.
For example:
2.60 + 7.28= 9.88
Subtracting with Decimals
when you subtract a decimal you need to allign the decimal with the other decimal so when you add you can get right the place of the decimal point.
For example:
3.60
-2.40
---------
1.20
Multiplying Decimals
When you multiply an operation with decimales you just add the spaces of the decimal point so you need to count the # of spaces in the answer so you add the decimal point.
For example:
3.670*4.8=17.616
Dividing decimals
When you divide a whole number with a decimal is the easy operation. First you need to take the decimal point up of its place. Then you can divide.
For example:
3รท1.5= 0.5
