We hope you enjoy your Christmas break and a few weeks off from school. As a reminder, our teachers are unplugging and recharging to come back strong for the spring semester. If you reach out to them, they may not reply right away.

Spring Semester Reminders:
As we enter a new year we want to remind you of the drop off times. Students can begin entering the school at 7:25. The tardy bell will ring at 7:45. At this time, the doors will be closed and students will have to enter through the front office door. If your child is tardy, please use the QR code (posted in two parking spots or by the door) to check your child in. We need to have all students checked in so they are not counted absent. Thank you for your help with this.
If your child is going home in a different way than they usually do, please notify the office before 2:00. The office and classrooms are really busy at the end of the day. We need to make sure we get messages to the students before dismissal.
Many classes have the opportunity to have snack time. A reminder that snacks should be somewhat healthy (no candy) and students should not be sharing snacks. We have many students with food allergies and we want all students to be safe.
Many students have their own cell phones. If needed, we allow students to bring them to school BUT they must remain in their backpacks and powered off during school hours. Cell phones can be a distraction to the learning environment. If students need to get ahold of their parents during the school day, they are more than welcome to call from the office. If parents need to get ahold of their child, we can give them messages or have them come down for a call. Some students have smartwatches. It is fine to wear these for telling time or physical activity purposes, but they should not be used for messaging or contacting others during the day. Thank you for helping us keep the focus on learning.
