FEBRUARY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
TEACHER / SCHOOL RECOGNITION
Providence Hall High School has earned the College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women's access to AP Computer Science Principles for the 2021-22 school year. This honor acknowledges the amazing work our school is doing to close the gender equity gap in computer science. We are one of only 832 schools to be recognized for achieving this important result in AP Computer Science Principles. We owe this award and all of the hard work behind it to our very own Mrs. Joy Beckenbach! Thank you Mrs Beckenbach for all that you do for our CTE Programs!!
CLASSROOM / STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
Earlier this month, Mrs. Newbold had her honors students submit an essay to the National Association for Multicultural Education Utah conference. Two of our PHHS students were selected as winners in the High School category, Andrea Larsen 1st place and Nivi Karthikeyan 2nd place! This past Saturday they were invited to attend the N.A.M.E conference & read their winning essays!!
We are excited to announce the addition of our online school store! The entire Providence Hall community can now purchase school swag at their convenience. Click the pic below to be linked to the website.
