TOP STORY - RHS Odyssey of the mind sending two teams to WORLDS!!!!!
RHS is the only school in the district that earned an invitation to the Odyssey of the Mind World Competition, and 2 out of the 4 teams to earn an invitation from the Coastal Region.
Please congratulate our Odyssey of the Mind teams when you see them. Both teams earned an invitation to the Odyssey of the Mind World competition at Michigan State University in May. Adam Edmonds, Emma Lovely, Jason Lassila, Alyssa Powell, Lauryn Hyatt, and Mackenzie Repp's team took 2nd place in their Odd-A-Bot technical problem while Lauryn Givens, Faith Kennedy, Caleb Miller, Taylin Batchelor, Jacob Zimmerman, and Adam Edmonds (who competed with both teams), took 1st place for their Catch Me if You Can vehicle problem.
Thank you to all of the teachers, custodians, office staff, and administrators that supported our teams in their efforts to earn an invitation to the world competition. Our students spoke fondly of the support they received from many of you during the stresses of this Odyssey season.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MARCH TEACHER OF THE MONTH, MRS. STEPHANIE WILLIAMS!!!
