STUDENT THREAT ASSESSMENT PARENT/GUARDIAN NOTIFICATION

Dear Parents and Guardians,


Boise Independent School District is committed to creating and maintaining school

environments in which the emotional and physical safety of students, staff, parents and

others is a priority. Schools cannot ignore any threat of violence. When threat making

Boise National College Fair

All juniors will be released from class to ride a bus and attend the Boise National College Fair on Wednesday, October 31, at Expo Idaho. Over 200 colleges and universities from around the country will be available for students to ask about financial aid, campus housing, programs of study and more.

Operation Wish Book

Operation Wish Book is a community based project designed to enable less fortunate children to receive new books for Christmas. This year, the FC library will be collecting NEW children's books for Operation Wish Book until Thanksgiving break.

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a proven college readiness system, established over 35 years ago, that uses research-based strategies and curriculum to help close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. AVID is a school-wide approach to curriculum and rigor that impacts more than 1.2 million students in K-12 and 40 post-secondary institutions.
