FEBRUARY 1, 2023 - NEWSLETTER
Greetings,
Welcome, February! Although February is a short month there are festivities we may wish to participate in, such as Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, or Presidents Day. This month also encourages us to be aware of our heart health, cancer prevention, black history, and American history, to name a few. It’s also I love to read month!
If there are areas of awareness or interest specific to your family, share your thoughts with the learning advocates so this learning can be built into student learning designs. This offers another great way to personalize learning for students.
One day I’m looking forward to is Random Act of Kindness Day on February 17. The idea of making the world a little brighter by simple, kind gestures and words is a concept I can get behind – everyday!
Please remember, there is no school on February 16, 17 or 20. Please plan ahead.
As always, please call the attendance line, 763-600-5209, to report student absences due to illness, appointments, and vacation. Your attention to this is appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your learning advocate or me.
Will the Groundhog see his shadow tomorrow? Have a great month!
Take care,
Kim Fehringer
