CB 1:1 Device Agreement and Fee - Parents of students in grades 3-6
We still have many families that have not paid their device usage fee, $15. This needs to be completed by October 30th.
To complete this task:
1. Follow the link, here, and follow the directions to sign the agreement and pay the fee.
2. If you need assistance for economic reasons, we can assist you.
3. If you choose to opt out of the program, we will store your child's laptop here at school. The students can use the device on days that they are in school. They will not have the option to take it home.
Student Directory
We are preparing the 2023-2024 Student Directory. This directory includes school information as well as parent contact information. If you do NOT wish to have your personal information included in the directory, (address, phone number, email) please email Mrs. Covino in the office, dcovino@cbsd.org .
Please note, school staff members are not permitted to give out student/parent information for outside invitations, such as birthday parties or playdates. We will direct you to the Pine Run Student Directory to locate the names and numbers of those you would like to invite to such an event.
Back To School Reminders
Buses- We understand many of our busses have been running late. We communicate with district transportation regularly, and we are hopeful that as routes are perfected and drivers become more acclimated to traffic patterns, we will see improvement. You can view transportation status updates here, Transportation / School Bus Status (cbsd.org)
You should receive text alerts if your child's bus is running late. Be sure you have a current cell phone number in Infinite Campus.
PM Car Riders:
Please display your child's name at carline pick up. For those families that indicated their child will be a car rider, we have put a car line pick up sign in your child's Friday Folder, displaying this will help the line move more quickly. Please pull into our car line and follow our signage. Parents should remain in the car. This is for everyone's safety. We will have staff members outside to help.
ALL parents and children should use the crosswalk. If you park your car and walk to the sidewalk you should only cross at the crosswalk. Students are not permitted to run across the bus lane to meet you in the parking lot. We have many busses pulling in and it is difficult for drivers to see pedestrians crossing outside of the crosswalk area.
Little Bites Recycling Project
This Spring Mrs. Martin and her fifth-grade class initiated a Little Bites Recycling Project. She has reported it was a big success. As a school, we collected over 11 pounds of Little Bite wrappers in just a short amount of time. The company will make a donation to our school. Continue to save your Little Bites wrappers and bring them to school.
Thanks for always helping to make a difference in our community.
