A Message from the Principal
Happy New Year! Let's begin 2022 with a fresh start and renewed enthusiasm. We hope you had a great winter break and are ready to partner with us for this New Year!
Student devices will start coming home this week. This is just to be precautionary so we are prepared if there are any sudden transitions to the educational programming. For some of our classrooms, devices coming home are the norm so you won't notice any changes. Your child's teacher may have different requests for families when it comes to devices being sent home. This could include a request to just keep the device in the child's bookbag to ensure it's on hand as needed or it could mean to use it for a specific assignment. Your child's teacher will communicate with you their expectations.
As always, our continued partnership means everything. We know with uncertainty comes uneasiness, however, I truly believe our Weiss community is so special because we always work together to support our children no matter what challenges come our way. If there are updates, I will continue to keep our families informed.
Your partner in Education,
Mr. Bezeau
Principal
Downriver STEM at Weiss
