Week of October 15-18

Positivity Project

This week at Cryar, we will focus on the character strength CREATIVITY. Creative people can look at the world in original ways. They are open to new experiences, and have an imaginative and independent thought process. They generate lots of different ideas and can pursue them with energy and enthusiasm. Creativity is a process that takes courage. Anytime you share your original ideas with the world, you risk being criticized or even ostracized.

Bond Referendum

The November 5th Bond Referendum includes projects to address the needs of district support services that will largely focus on items for the Transportation Department including purchasing new buses with seat belts and air conditioning to replace the oldest vehicles in the fleet.

Funds will also be provided for technology infrastructure items and land purchases for proposed and future school sites in Conroe ISD.

Learning Walk

Wonder what goes on inside of Cryar Intermediate? Please join us for a "Learning Walk" to see the amazing things that happen here on a daily basis. The "Learning Walk" will be Tuesday, October 29 at 9:30 am. Please meet us in the library for our welcome. You will then be able to walk our halls and visit classrooms in action! Our goal is for-you see our teachers and students in their element-- exploring, learning and loving what they do. We will meet back in the library to talk about what you learned on your walk and answer any questions. We look forward to you joining us! Spaces are limited.
