Alba Middle School
It's Always a Great Day to be a SHARK!
Why is Alba the BEST middle school in the county?
Alba is one hundred and six years old. The school was founded by Peter F. Alba. We are a community school located at 14180 S. Wintzell Avenue in Bayou La Batre, the Seafood capital of Alabama. We are only twenty minutes from the beautiful beaches of Dauphin Island! Many of our faculty and staff graduated from Alba and have returned home to serve the community. We are the best Middle School in Mobile county. Our student population is approximately 500 students. Alba makes every effort to increase the amount and quality of learning time and provide enriched curriculum and opportunities to meet the needs of all students. We offer many sports and extracurricular activities to enhance student involvement. We support our teachers and recognize them for all of their hard work.
