Covid protocols
Please note that though our protocols have lessened and face coverings are now optional, we need to work together to ensure that students with symptoms (cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, vomiting/diarrhea, fever, headache, tiredness, etc.) do not come to school (especially now) unless they meet the following:
1. Have a negative test OR
2. Have a different diagnosis from the doctor OR
3. Have been out of school for 5 days since symptom started
PLEASE, PLEASE help us with this !! I realize that these symptoms can look like allergies, so just be aware that since we can't tell the difference, please just get them tested. We have had many kiddos whose parents thought they had an allergy end up positive. We appreciate your help in keeping this virus out of the building so our students can stay in!
Zones Reminder
All Zones are OK, BUT...
It's important for children to know that it is okay to have feelings in ANY of the Zones. However, they need our help to understand that though they may feel excited, frustrated, angry, sad or shy-- is not safe or expected behavior for them to jump around, yell at their peers, refuse to do schoolwork, or hide. Reminding your child to use a calming strategy before reacting can assist them to make more acceptable choices when in the Blue, Yellow, or Red Zones.
