Secondary Mathematics Update
May 26, 2020
2019-2020
First and foremost, thank you. No one anticipated a global pandemic would cause us to make such drastic changes, but through this Pasco Math teachers shined. Pasco County was floored by the level of innovation and willingness of teachers to adapt, assuring all students had access to great instruction! Please take the summer to recharge, rest, and stay safe. We are looking forward to a great 2020-2021 school year!
Middle School Math Competition
Thank you all who sponsored students for the Secondary Mathematics Competition. We appreciate the time you took to provide an opportunity for Pasco students to participate meaningful & fun tasks! Please enjoy the taco's that cure, solve a mystery, and enjoy a tea party and more! We are currently reconnecting with our sponsors to provide a small token of appreciation to all team members and teacher sponsors.

enVision A|G|A Updates
Thank you for participating in the Introduction to enVision webinar and course. We are loving reading all your feedback and are collecting this data to help plan over the summer.
Just a couple of reminders:
- The myLearning course is available to guide you through the exploration. You can earn 3 PD points. Please register in myPGS, Course number 3386, Section 17201. Once registered, you will be directed to the course in myLearning. This section will be open till August 10.
- Digital access is available through myPascoConnect.
- Select this link to get a quick overview of the program.
- The textbooks will be exactly like the ones we have reviewed and will remain with the Pearson logo.
- Pearson fully integrates with Canvas so we will have student-facing courses available.
- Knewton and MathXL are separate programs and do not interact with one another. Both are correlated to the lessons in each Topic.
- We are researching the easiest way to import grades from PearsonRealize to myStudent.

SEL/Compassionate Schools
It’s hard to believe we are at the end of the school year. So much has happened! Here is a link to an article that gives some great ideas on how to close out your virtual classroom in a way that still makes students feel connected even when they can’t participate in “traditional” end of year activities at school. We hope everyone has a restful and fun summer!
