A Message from the Administration
Early Intervention at Williston
by Carter Smith
Ben Franklin is quoted as saying, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
It is critical to help children and families as early as possible. The Supervisory Union and the CISEI - Children’s Integrated Service - Early Intervention provide support at birth when there are identified needs until age three. Williston has begun to provide additional support for families at age three in Williston. Besides students with identified disabilities, Williston has been focusing recently on students and families who meet poverty guidelines and families who speak a language other than English.
The Early Essential Education program is housed at Allen Brook School. Read More

VOYAGER Parents—We Need You!!
Our FAPAC membership is full except for Voyager House! We really need one or more parents to serve as FAP representatives for Voyager House. Many Houses have multiple reps who share this role so please consider this!! It is a great way to learn more about our schools and all the parts of our children’s education. The major responsibilities are: attending monthly FAPAC meetings; communicating with House families (via email primarily) about our meetings and about help needed with our events; and getting volunteers together for House-specific fundraisers (which are fewer this year!!!). So please, please, please consider this! If you need more information, please email us at willistonfap@cssu.org.
