MATH
ESTAR/MSTAR: needs to be used with Chrome instead of Explorer.
5th Grade: Please note as you transition to decimal and fraction operations for the next 2 clusters that our 5th graders are building their understanding of "the how and the why". Our TEKS in 5th grade do not refer to the algorithm with multiplication/division except for decimal and fraction division-5.3G & 5.3L. Therefore, please refrain from teaching the algorithm so that students have the time to build a solid foundation with these important operation concepts during the next 2 clusters (except for the TEKS that specify it). The students will have time to apply and practice in May.
Technology; Technology apps in math-check out these free on-line apps that include number lines, base 10, etc.
