Crayon Chaos

Mrs. Biernaki's class played a game that she created called "Crayon Chaos!" Students answered reading questions about the story "Charles" by Shirley Jackson, and along the way they could draw or steal crayon cards when they got questions correct. The object of the game was to score the most points by getting certain crayon combos. (The crayons related to the story).

Reading Buddies

Every Friday, the LEAP classes team up for Reading Buddies. Reading Buddies is a concept that pairs different grade-level and reading-level classrooms for community reading time. Students are not only working on reading skills during Reading Buddies--they are building speech and social emotional skills.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

Escape Room Community Builder

On April TEAM day students earn paws as they try to help the Avengers defeat Thanos in a Superhero themed Escape Room. This lesson teams students up with partners to review and model school-wide expectations in a fun and engaging series of activities.

April Super-Students of the Month

These "Jaguar Super Students of the Month" model positive citizenship characteristics and outstanding ROAR behaviors. Dental Examinations

Students entering kindergarten, grade 2, and grade 6 are required to have an oral health examination. Each child is required to present proof of examination by a dentist by May 15 of the end of their school year.

If a child in Kindergarten, 2nd, or 6th grade fails to present proof, the school may hold the child’s report card until one of the following is provided: a Proof of School Dental Examination form, a Dental Examination Waiver form, an exemption based on religious grounds or proof that a dental examination will take place within 60 days of the deadline.

Chromebook Check in

Conrady teachers are asking parents to help ensure that chromebook batteries are charged each day. If you can take a moment to check in with your Conrady Jaguar to review these Chromebook Expectations you will be helping to support and reinforce the successful behaviors of our students.
