Daniel Wright Junior High School
Qualifying History & Geo Bee Exams
Daniel Wright is offering students the opportunity to take the qualifying round of the National History Bee and National Geography Bee. This is an optional activity for students at DW in grades 6-8 with an interest in competing in these areas. Daniel Wright sponsors the History Bee and the Geography Bee as part of our school programs and will pay the entry fees specific to these two competitions. Travel is the responsibility of the families.
Students may opt to take the qualifying exam for the National Science Bee, however, competition in this specific area is independent of the school and will be the financial responsibility of the student's family.
Daniel Wright is offering three days for students to take the qualifying exam.
Tuesday, November 14
- Monday, November 27
- Wednesday, December 6
If you can not make one of the qualifying exam dates, please contact the sponsor specific to your grade level:

Sick Kids Should See the Nurse
If your student texts, emails, or calls you from their phone because they are feeling unwell, please remind them they need to go to the nurse's office first before you pick them up. The nurse will determine whether they stay in school or go home. If they need to go home, someone from the office will call you immediately to pick up your child.
