Graphic Design/Public Relations Student Worker at UGA College of Pharmacy
The Office of Public Relations, Communications and Marketing at the UGA College of Pharmacy has an immediate need for a part-time student worker who can assist with the strategic communication initiatives of the college. The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior UGA student who has graphic design skills (digital and print); writing capabilities; and a working knowledge of implementing various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Wordpress knowledge is a plus.

Student Assistant at UGA - Research Animal Resources
This position involves the care and husbandry of laboratory animals. Duties include but are not limited to providing feed, water and the daily care for multiple species of animals in support of research. Incumbent performs sanitation duties such as; cleaning cages, animal rooms and ancillary areas. Observes animals daily for signs of sickness, abnormal behavior, social environment and overall health status.
Incumbents must be able to work schedule including weekends and holidays. Participation in UGA’s Occupational Health & Safety Program is required and may include vaccinations, spirometry and respirator fit testing.
Hotel Front Desk Representative at Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center & Hotel
Must present a personable, helpful, and professional image. Responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, making reservations, and assisting with general information, advising guests of all hotel services, features and accommodations. Must be able to handle guest complaints, route telephone calls, maintain cash drawer and collect payment for all charges. Must be available for shift work, including weekends and Football weekends.
Must have good customer service skills and abilities to multi-task, good organizational skills, must be able to stay calm in potential stressful situations, be friendly, professional, and willing to serve the public. Expected to adhere to grooming and uniform policies. Must be able to stand for extended period of times.
