Wolves Weekly
STUDENT NEWSLETTER/November 28, 2022
Time to hit the ground running!
Hope your tummies were stuffed and that you had an excellent week off! I know, I know, I know. You don't want to be back but think of it this way...three more weeks of school and then you'll have three weeks off for Winter Break. Now, isn't that something worth striving for? With that said, think of the following:
1. What can you do to finish the semester strong? Are your grades suffering? What can you do to make sure that you are on the right track, before final grades are published?
2. What have you done or said that has made you proud of yourself or has caused others to be proud of you? If you can't think of any, how about starting now?
3. Many of you shared friendship bracelets and even notes of gratitude to those at school before we left for Thanksgiving. How will you continue that positive act of gratitude throughout the rest of the school year?
LOOK WHAT'S BACK!
Remember: The best and only way to stay off the No-Go List is by following our PACK expectations. As a Wolf, you are to be Proactive, Accountable, a positive member of the Community, and exercise Kindness. Unfortunately, if you find yourself on the No-Go List, be advised that you will not be able to participate in any extra curricular activities and field trips.
If you find yourself on the No-Go List, that means you have incurred the following infractions:
- 2 or more F's
- Excessive Tardies: 10+ tardies in periods 2-7
- Behavior: 10 minors, 2 majors, and/or any Ed. Code violation
But wait! You will have the opportunity to work your way off the No-Go List through one of the following options:
- Attend Catch-Up Saturday School and bring your grades up
- Perform Community Service
- Demonstrate proof of improving behavior
However, to petition off the No-Go List, you will need to submit a request to the Dean of Students..that's me, Mrs. Padilla. The Dean will then review the request and respond to the student via email with the next steps of the process. You can only petition off the No-Go List twice per semester.
Upcoming Catch Up Saturdays
Click here for Catch Up Saturday, December 10: 8am-12pm
***This is the last Catch Up Saturday School for the semester.
If you sign up to attend, you must come for the entire 4 hours. During this time, you can work on missing/incomplete assignments for most of your classes. Often, a teacher will only accept a missing assignment for full credit after a Catch-Up Saturday is attended. Be sure to talk to your teacher to be sure. We will have teachers available to help you as needed.
***All students must be picked up NO LATER than 12PM.***
