UHM graduates its most minority MDs of Native Hawaiian, Filipino ancestry in 2019
There were 12 Native Hawaiian and 12 Filipino MD graduates (some identified as both Native Hawaiian and Filipino) in the recent class.

Learning in Kalaupapa
First-year students of the JABSOM Partnership For Social Justice took a day trip to Molokaʻi with Dr. Brady to learn more about the history of Hansen’s Disease & its psychological, social & political effects on native Hawaiians.
