KDI Book Study Slides

I have loved reading your slides from our last CTE assignment--book snaps. There are so many great quotes from the book shared, but even more impressive, are your wise words that you shared. Thank you for taking time during such a busy month to truly reflect on why our Kids Deserve It! You are all amazing. I thought reading through these might help us all to remember why we are doing what we do each and every day. Thanks for making Robison such a special place!

Thank You

Thank you to Julie Carter for processing all of our Boosterthon RSVP forms and for helping with check-in throughout the day.

Another big thank you to everyone who helped managed the check-in and check-out and who helped outside with Boosterthon on Friday: Diana Roberts, Steffani Fournet, Nicole Grimaldo, Jenny Daniel, Roshunda Knight, Heather Nix, Kelly Oetken, Jan Hartman, Lisa Carlat, Courtney Nespeca, and Carrie McCollister. Teachers---you were amazing throughout the whole 2 weeks. Your support helped us to surpass our goal of $25,000. The last number I heard for our profit was $32,000. Thank you to everyone for helping to make the day a success!

Thank you to our paras, AB and SPED team for the fantastic treats they provided for the staff on Friday! That certainly helped end our very busy week on a positive note.

Goal Setting

Staff required to compete goal setting will receive a link to a sign up genius from your appraiser within the next few days. The AP's reviewed the GSG with everyone at the last grade level meeting. You will have 2 goals, and all of this should be ready when you come to your meeting.

Book Character Parade & Staff Trick-or-Treating

Please be sure you've read the Rocket Register and are aware of the details for this. The parade is a whole-school event this year. We are looking forward to a fun morning of costumes. Although this is Halloween, students and staff should be dressed in book character costumes. Staff should not wear anything with "Halloween" written on it, nor ghosts or witch-type designs during "Halloween Season".

However, the A-team is having "trick or treating" for all of you throughout the day. We'll have snacks in each of our offices. You will start in my office where you'll receive snacks and participate in a fun Halloween game that will give your team the chance to win prizes. Your team may show up at one of the following times:

9:30

9:45

10:35

11:05

12:05

1:10

2:05

3:00

Please let us know if your team needs to come at a different time. By having these set times, our staff that are not assigned to a grade level are able to choose a time when others are coming.

We are looking forward to a fun-filled day!

Pineapple Chart

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to have guests in their classrooms. I know it is a busy month, but keep the invites coming. We will have a drawing at the end of this month among all who volunteered to host and all who took time to observe. Fun shirts for Wednesdays with jeans will be the prize! If you have tickets to put in the drawing, please drop them off in my office (I'll have a jar for them). If you volunteered either way and did not receive tickets for the drawing, please see me to get them. Each host should receive 2 tickets, and each observer should receive 1 ticket.
