Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences at Centennial High School will take place virtually on:
- Wednesday, December 16 from 4:30-8:00pm
- This is still a FULL SCHOOL DAYS FOR STUDENTS!
Conference slots are available through teachers directly through Microsoft Bookings. If you have not heard from your student's teachers regarding setting up a Parent/Teacher Conference appointment, please use the STAFF page on the CHS website to contact them directly for a link.
Conferences are scheduled for 10 minute slots, will take place for 8 minutes each and will only take place virtually via Microsoft Teams or over the phone. Time slots are available on a first come, first served basis so sign up today!
Here are some tips to make the most of your conference:
- Look over schoolwork.
- Talk with your child, bring a copy of their schedule (see template below).
- Make a list of questions.
- Arrive a few minutes early.
- Talk about the specifics of your child in class.
- Stay calm.
- Ask the most important questions first.
- Figure out next steps.
- Update your child after the conference.
- Follow up with teachers after conferences.

Centennial High School is looking for ParaProfessionals to assist in our Special Education and English Language Learner Programs. If you or someone you know is interested in working at the high school level, assisting and supporting students through tutoring and supplemental activities we would love to hear from you!

During these challenging times, spread the word that help is available, and that it is OK to ask for help! One resource available to educators and all Idahoans to help cope with stress and connect with help is the Idaho Strong COVID Help Now Line. Picture My Future Art Contest
Idaho students in grades 7-12 are invited to share their dreams for the future by entering our “Picture My Future” art contest! "This has been a particularly challenging year for students and families throughout Idaho, but hope for the future still burns brightly, and I look forward to seeing how students envision life after high school,” says Superintendent Sherri Ybarra. “The goals and creativity of Idaho students are truly inspiring as they look toward the future they will shape.”
The winning artwork will be posted on our website and shared with Idaho legislators during Superintendent Ybarra’s budget presentation to the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee. We can’t wait to see all the entries!

Emails from college representatives from across the country are coming in DAILY! They want to meet YOU and share information about their schools, including the application process. All visits are virtual and most begin at 3:30 PM. Invite your parents to join the meeting too!

BSU - Sophomore Start
Freshmen and Sophomore students at CHS can participate in the Boise State University, Sophomore Start Program. It is designed for a motivated student who can maintain a 3.0 GPA and who would like to earn 30 college credits while still in high school. Students can utilize Fast Forward Funds to pay for these college credits. This can be a great opportunity to enter college as a Sophomore for students who are planning to attend Boise State. A dedicated advisor will work with the student throughout their participation in the program.
