Overall Sumary of the American Revolution
Q: What is the American Revolution? A: The American revolution is the result of the Colonies being fed up with Britain, and all of it's taxes and Acts.
Q: What were some of the social causes of the American Revolution? A: I think a social cause is that they were united against a common enemy, the British. They all fought against the British together, which brought them together.
Q: What were some of the British economic policies that led to the American Revolution? A: Some of the economic policies that led to the Revolution were taxes on tea, and paper, and other household items.
Q: Do you think colonists were justified in declaring independence from England? A: Absolutely. They recognized how unfair and unjust the taxes and restrictions were and they stood up for themselves. I think that what they did was completely justified.
