Michael Ong (R/Y) coordinated three different sessions at Christ Church Secondary School. With much planning and collaboration, Michael led the sessions with members of the XYZ team at Chevron, as well as Lewis Senior (Y/R) and Ian Collins (B/R). I would like to offer a special thank you for their combined efforts, energy and contribution to expanding the Self & Team Awareness components in the educational setting in Singapore.


It was an incredibly audacious goal to take on and these teammates did it seamlessly. The pictures will share the sheer volume of participants and insights gained from the sessions.

With the completion of the third E-Colors for Youths session in Christ Church Secondary yesterday, this marks the successful completion of the XYZ Network Community Engagement activity for 2016. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for the fruition and incident-free rollout of E-Colors for Youths in Singapore. It is truly a milestone in our E-Colors journey.


This has been both an exciting and fulfilling experience for me. I’m honoured and privileged to have been able to work with all of you and thankful that I have in a small way contributed to the lives of the students, who have embarked on this journey of self-awareness in bettering themselves through the use of E-Colors.

Working Together - What patterns of behavior do you see?

In one of the exercises, teams of teachers were assigned to collaborate and were separated by their top E-Color. Much like their teachers, we found similar behavioral tendencies when working with the students.


Lewis shared, "Thank you so much for taking a leap of faith and allowing us into your world. First impressions from my perspective is that there was enough interest both at the teacher and student level to encourage moving forward.


Watching the students on Thursday have realizations that there are some highly predictable behaviors and patterns relative to the various personality types was a sight to see. Also the learning styles and manner in which information is taken in was very evident, highlighted by the top color 'green' group of students who were so radically different to the top color 'yellows'."


Michael Ong added a note regarding Lessons Learned & Practical Applications captured from students on their team flip charts. "It is great that they have picked up these life skills around self-awareness, social-awareness and self-management so quickly."

Vice Principal of Christ Church Secondary School, Jeromy Ngian concluded, "We cannot thank you enough for making time to come down to train the staff and students personally. We will continue to grow the programme and hope to impact more lives leveraging on E-Colors."
