A Message from Mrs. Barber
Hello Northeast Families,
It was a fun week celebrating the Centennial Jags Homecoming! It was great to see staff and students participate in the dress-up days. We were hoping to end our fun week with our Jag Jog but due to weather we rescheduled for Monday.
We still welcome volunteers and spectators for Monday's event.

Parent Advisory Council - Meeting
The first PAC Meeting of the year is on Thursday, September 29th from 6:00-7:30 pm at Northview Middle School.
Make plans to attend the first PAC meeting of the school year! This Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meeting will feature a discussion on K-12 math. Join Dr. Erick Pruitt and district academic leadership to learn more about our new math curriculum and how to best support your student in their math learning. An overview of the math curriculum will be presented, followed by two breakout sessions; one session that takes a deeper look into elementary math and one session focused on math pathways for secondary students. Click here for more information on the PAC.
Morning Music
If your Northeast student plays an instrument and is interested in providing music at arrival, please sign up for a slot. The only instrument provided by Northeast is a keyboard. All other instruments will need to be brought by the student. You can fill out the form here: Morning Music, and reach out to Mrs. Barber with any questions.
Northeast Classroom Party Sign Up
If you would like to volunteer for a class party, please choose one date and fill out the form below. Parents must join the VIPS program (powered by Better Impact) to volunteer at a class party: VIPS Volunteer Portal. If you have not done so already, please come to Northeast Office before the party day to get your I.D. scanned into our Raptor system so printed badges can be ready.
Don't hesitate to contact Lisa Cowan if you have any questions regarding this new process. Lisa.Cowan@ankenyschools.org
