UPDATED! Here's the link to our website:

Please have your child visit the website and use the Student Resource tab to review math skills.- This can count toward math folder minutes.

Check out the Parent Resource tab for videos of myself in the Crestview refresh sessions!

Donations please: We are still in need of tissue boxes.

This week we will continue looking at different Folktales in literature. We will discover and notice how Folktales are similar and different from previous genres we have looked at, Myths and Fables. Folktales also have a great theme. We will be discovering the moral of each Folktale we read.

This week we are continuing with Unit 4 by working with different angles and lines. Students are learning how to label, draw, and read angels using a protractor. This is a difficult skill that will take time to master.

Math Folder: Folders will be coming home today. Please work with your student every night to help improve their math fact fluency!!

Homework: Given Wednesday, due Friday! (this is different from math folder)

This week we are beginning to brainstorm ideas for our literary essay. Students are going to write about their favorite book or author and defend their opinion using evidence from the book to support the claim.

Please don't hesitate to call or email if you have questions or concerns! I hope you enjoy the Newsletter!
