Dear Field Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for joining us on Wednesday evening for our virtual Parent Night. If you were not able to join us, we've recorded the presentations from that night. We are also sharing the digital presentations from that night too. Those items are linked here. If you have questions, please do feel free to reach out to your child's teacher(s). We appreciate the partnership and support.
A few reminders about upcoming events. Our next materials pick up date is Monday, September 14th. We will follow the same procedures as our first one, including the time frames and entrance location (last door on Wisner, North Gym). Teachers may also share information about returning certain items on this day, so please be sure to watch for that information. I'd also like to remind you that Friday, September 18th is a remote learning planning day for staff, so there will be no student attendance or remote instruction that day.
We also wanted to remind you that our live instruction begins at 8:50 a.m. If your child is having trouble logging in, please call the main office at (847) 318-4385. We do take attendance during this morning session.

Devorah Heitner is an author and speaker who focuses on Raising Digital Natives. Her website hosts a wealth of information about navigating our new virtual world and how to balance the children's use of screens for quality purposes.
Just a reminder that the school playground remains closed during the school day. We do have a few students here in person at Field who will be using the playground at various points during the day with staff supervision.
During these challenging times, it is paramount that families continue to practice the social distancing guidelines defined by our public health officials. Your partnership in this area is greatly needed and appreciated. Our school district is taking great strides to keep our teachers and staff safe while they are on campus, and we need your cooperation to ensure a safe school campus safe for everyone.
