LIEP Coordinator
The Coordinator for Language Instruction Educational Program (CLIEP) is responsible for providing leadership and administration of services and program models to English Learners in grades PK-12.

Petersburg City Public Schools will develop 21st century citizens able to effectively collaborate, communicate, and innovate.
The LIEP Department is committed to providing an effective language instructional program that enables students who are English learners to become proficient in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
The purposes of Title III
- to ensure that EL students, including immigrant children and youth attain English proficiency and meet the same academic content and achievement standards as all students;
- to develop, provide, and sustain high-quality language instructional programs and professional development; and
- to promote parental, family, and community participation.

The Call for Proposals opens in July 2017 and submissions will be approved starting August 1. Proposals must relate to our mission statement.
