What's Happening...
Teacher Workday
Monday is a teacher workday. There is an afternoon Mental Health training. Those needing to attend have been notified.
Informal Observations
We will be conducting informal observations in January and February. Feedback will be shared via True North Logic.
Grade Level Meetings
Grade level meetings will take place Thursday, January 10 during your planning time. We have a lot to discuss!
SAC Meeting
There is a SAC Meeting on Wednesday, January 9 at 3:30 pm in the media center.
Report Cards
Report cards will be sent home Tuesday, January 15.
Teacher of the Year Banquet
The Banquet is on Friday, January 25. Please see Dr. Noel's email to sign up for this event. Congratulations again to Mrs. Coker and Mrs. Van Wormer! You both make SES proud!
2nd Quarter Awards
The schedule is below for our 2nd quarter awards. You will receive a printout in your mailboxes Monday. Please handwrite your students' names receiving the awards. These are due to my mailbox no later than Wednesday afternoon. You will have invitation letters to send home with your students receiving awards. Please send these home Thursday.

Classroom Change!
Music will be back in the old music room beginning Tuesday when students return!
iReady Instruction
Please look at your students' instructional plans. It should match their abilities. If you need help adjusting their lesson plan, please email me for support. The district requires 45 minutes of instruction on iReady a week. We want to ensure students are using these minutes doing lessons that will help them improve academically. Please have this done by Friday, January 11. Thank you!
Moving Forward
We will address many things, regarding instructional expectations and discipline, during our grade level meetings on January 10. I look forward to working hard with you as we strive for success during the second semester. Here's a to a great start in 2019!
