Stay Informed!
There will be a boys basketball meeting for those interested in trying out on Monday at 11:00 in Room A257 for boys in grades 9-12. There will also be a meeting on Friday at 11:00 in A257 for anyone not able to make the Monday meeting.
BPA meeting: Tuesday in room A154 (computer lab) at 11 or 11:30. Attend one meeting. Contest sign up and prep information so make sure to attend. New members can still join!
Seniors: this is the final week to submit your cap/gown/senior graduation order without a late fee. Submit orders to the Business Ed. Office. After November 8, all orders will need to be sent directly to the Josten’s rep. and will incur a late charge.
SPEECH! Get classy and find your voice! Learn more about the Tiger Speech Team by attending one of the New Member Interest Meetings this week! Pick a day – Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 11:05 in room A252.
Math team practice in room A206 Wednesday during lunch. This will take place from now until February.
- Seniors: Nominations for Class of 2020 Motto, Song, Flower, & Colors are being accepted. Check your email for a link to the nomination form. Nominations will be accepted until November 15.
- Order your yearbook today! Order forms are here or you may order online at marshallyearbook.com The cost of the book is $48 plus tax. The yearbook is a all delivery book and will arrive next September. If you haven't picked up your 2018-2019 book, please stop by the office to do so.
- Marshall High School students: Do you want to make a difference in the lives of young people? Are you interested in a career in teaching? Would you be interested in finding out about a club for future teachers? If yes, please come to an informational meeting to learn more about starting up an Educators Rising Club. This club is for young people exploring the path to great teaching. There’s power in teaching. If interested, sign up in the office and attend on Monday, November 4 at 11:30 in Student Services.
The Marshall High School Born to Be Alive Yellow Ribbon group works to empower people (of all ages) to raise awareness about and to prevent youth/teen suicide. They also work to spread the message that depression, anxiety, and mental health issues are treatable. They strive to show kindness and respect to all. Please watch the announcements for a weekly quote as well as for special days to wear yellow or shirts that show understanding, raise awareness teen suicide prevention, or increase understanding of mental health needs.
