OLVCS Updates
February 10, 2023
Dear Families and Friends of Our Lady of Victory Catholic School,
With Valentine’s Day approaching, I want to briefly highlight a very loving place for our littlest students. I always feel loved at OLV Preschool (even when I’m called “Mrs. Hoy”). Mrs. Rogan and her staff have created an environment where children are loved, learn to love those outside of their family, and begin our school’s mission to “integrate Catholic truths, values, and attitudes with the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical development of our students.” Please stop by for the Preschool open house this Sunday after 12:30pm; send or bring a friend who has or will have a preschooler, and see what we have to offer. More details can be found below.
The OLV Faculty and Staff participated in “Soup” er Bowl 2023! The defending champ was Terry Stec. He faced some formidable competition this year, but when the votes were tallied, Terry retained the title with his Sausage Gnocchi Soup. Second place was a tie between Mrs. Muller’s Pizza Soup and Mrs. Stolberg’s Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice.
In other action, the regular basketball season is coming to an end today and our boys’ and girls’ teams had a great season. The games will be forgotten, won or lost, but the opportunity to compete, belonging to a team, growing friendships, learning sportsmanship, and being physically active are things that they will keep forever. Thanks to Ruthie Straub, Lea McCartney, Matthew Steyers, and Max Krasowitz, our great coaches, for their leadership and dedication to our teams!
Please continue to scroll through our newsletter for all of the upcoming activities, fundraisers, and other opportunities from our parish and schools.
God bless,
Jim Hoy

Preschool Registration Information for 2023-2024
In case you missed it...
We are excited to announce that the preschool will begin to utilize FACTS, an online tuition management system, with the 2023-2024 school year. There are many advantages to this system, but with it comes a few changes in how we handle payments.
All OLVCS families need to enroll with FACTS (enrollment information and instructions will be sent in the upcoming weeks.) If you already have an account with your children at the elementary/middle school you WILL NOT CREATE a new account, but will just add your preschool child to that account.
Tuition can be paid by check, credit card or debit card directly through FACTS. No payments will be given directly to staff at the preschool.
Tuition will be spread over 10 months of payments (instead of the current 9 months) from September-June. Monthly payments will be due on the 6th of each month.
ESP payments will be charged at the end of the month but will still be handled through FACTS
The Preschool will still oversee each family’s tuition, grants, scholarships, discounts and ESP rates but the OLVCS Bookkeeper, Mrs. Rosemary Weber, will be the contact for all matters with FACTS accounts.
There may be a few bumps we encounter while transitioning to this system, but we are hopeful that this will make payments and collection considerably easier for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
