Congratulations to the School City of Hobart's Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Debbie Matthys! She has transformed our schools and inspired students by creating a partnership with Dunes Learning Center and involving our Brickies in the nature around them. Students experience trail walks, hikes, and canoeing on Lake George! They learn about plant species, living organisms in our Lakes, and experience the cool breeze on the beaches of Lake Michigan. Debbie helps our students experience more than the classroom by getting them outdoors and teaching them lifelong lessons that won't be forgotten. Thanks for all that you do for out schools, Debbie!

Enjoy the Khan Academy all year long! Khan Academy is a resource that offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and personalized learning that empowers learners to study at their own pace. Students can work on skills in math, science, computer programming, PSAT/SAT Test Prep, and more. Additionally, parents can coach and monitor their children while they work through the program.
