Emerald Campus Weekly News

A note for students and parents-

Greetings!

We had some fun at Emerald Campus this week with Spirit Week! We loved that Scioto and Coffman ran spirit weeks right along with us! Check out some pictures below!

One of our goals at Emerald Campus is for students to feel a sense of belonging. This fits in as a first step to being open to being open-minded (our November monthly focus). We wanted to challenge each of our students this month to connect with another student you are not familiar with or may not know well at Emerald Campus. Ideas to connect include giving someone a compliment, noticing something unique about someone else, or just simply striking up a conversation.

Thanks!

Julie, Mark, and Lori

Pop tabs to donate to the local Ronald McDonald House

Please join us in collecting pop tabs to donate to the local Ronald McDonald House (located by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital on Livingston Ave). The pop tab program benefits families staying at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) while their children are in the hospital. RMH receives a check (from recycling the pop tabs) and the money is used to pay utility bills or support programs . This project is also a component of the Service-Learning experience in The Bridge program at Emerald Campus. Please place your tabs in the containers (available in the cafe or by recycling bins/water fountains) and contact us with any questions. Thanks, The Bridge students and staff (located on the 2nd floor, off the Orange Commons)
