*December 12th is a first grade performance.
*December 18-20th are holiday parties.
During the last week of 2017 we will be celebrating Holiday Spirit Week. The attire for each day is as follows:

19th-Holiday Socks
20th-Tacky Holiday Sweaters
21st-Holiday Accessories- Hats/Headbands/Scarves
We hope you will join us in celebrating the end to a fantastic 2017 with your holiday spirit! This is always a fun time for staff and students alike.
We hope to see you around at the many events occurring on campus over the next few weeks. Don’t forget, tomorrow our Chorus will be singing at Christmas in Crabapple. I am headed to the ACC Championship in Charlotte. My family is excited for another weekend of football. Have a great weekend!
November Employees of the Month
Congratulations to our Employees of the Month for November. Wanza Malcom, our cafe manager was recognized for the fantastic customer service she gives our families. In addition, she worked diligently to create a delicious holiday feast.
Lizzie Chalpan is new to us but a veteran kindergarten teacher. We are so lucky she decided to pick CCES as her place of employment . Lizzie takes such pride in her work with students and her families have been thrilled with her joy of teaching and professionalism.
Evening of the Arts - Tuesday, 12/5/17
Plan to join us next Tuesday, December 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 for our Evening of the Arts!
CCES Chorus and Orff Ensemble will perform their Winter Concert at 6:00 PM. Each group will perform separately and then join forces for an original song written by Mr. D. Enjoy carolers in the hallway after the concert as you head to the gym to enjoy your student artwork.
Each student will have a framed artwork on display in our Gym. Framing is available for purchase for $25 cash or check only. Even if you choose not to purchase the frame, we hope to see you here to experience our Art Show gallery. Can’t make it to the Art Show? You can still purchase the frame by sending $25 cash or check (made payable to CCES) in an envelope with your child’s name on it to Mrs. Steffensen in the Art Room. Framing sales end on Tuesday, December 12th. Please be assured that your child’s artwork will be returned to them even if the frame is not purchased. Questions? Contact Mrs. Steffensen at steffensen@fultonschools.org
