A Message from Dr. Mitzner
Our PTSA programs committee has planned Titan Dash (December 16 - January 4). Scavenger Hunt - the family that sends us pics of the completed list will go into a "hat" for a drawing. We also will have Titan Dash dress up days next week. See the flyer below!
Monday - Wear plaid
Tuesday - Wear PJs
Wednesday - Ugly Sweater/ Winter
Thursday - Candy Cane (wear red and white)
Friday - Holiday Topper and stockings (socks)
As we still have our COVID protocols in place, I encourage you to consider sending electronic appreciation notes or gifts like ecards or gift cards if you chose to honor them this way. Thanks for your understanding in this unprecedented year!
Know I treasure serving this school community daily!
Regards,
Dr. Kris Mitzner

Fall Semester Final Exam Schedule
Arrival Reminders
Doors to the school do not open until 8:30 AM. If possible, please try to drop off students after this time or encourage your students to arrive after 8:30 to minimize the number of students congregating outside of the front of the school. We also sincerely ask that you remind your student to social distance from their peers and wear their mask while waiting for the campus doors to open. Thank you for your support in helping keep your student and others safe.

KISD Virtual Art Gallery
A highlight for staff at the ESC is student artwork displayed on the bulletin boards throughout all of the hallways. In past years parents have been invited to bring family members and tour the art on display, taking photos of their child’s artwork.
This year, rather than family groups entering the ESC, the Fine Arts Department has created a virtual art gallery. The virtual art gallery is a stellar example of how challenges such as COVID can lead to new and improved ways to celebrate student achievement and recognize success of our teachers.

The TBP is a FREE service that allows students with a reading disability, like dyslexia, the opportunity to read. The TBP offers more than 125,000 titles and 80 plus magazines, all read with human narration. Materials can be downloaded via the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) Mobile app, on a smartphone or tablet. The program is completely free, with no charges and no overdue fees. For more information, visit www.tsl.texas.gov/tbp/reading_disabilities, email tbp.services@tsl.texas.gov or call 1-800-252-9605.
