A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
I am pleased to announce the birth of Jamie Belle Johns, daughter of Mr. Austin Johns and Mrs. Corrine Johns, both employees of St. Jude School. Jamie made her entrance on February 15, 2021, weighing 5 pounds 1 ounce, measuring 17.5 inches long. The Johns Family is home enjoying their time together.
A brief reminder to please plan accordingly; next Friday, February 26th, will be an independent study day for our students. The staff of St. Jude School will be receiving their vaccine on that day. School resumes on a normal schedule on Monday, March 1st. Looking ahead, we are closed for a Diocesan-wide Professional Development on Friday, March 5th, and Monday, March 8th.
Grace and Peace,

Spring Math Opportunity
This Spring, the Math+ program will be focused on the concept of Infinity. Infinity can be defined as “something without any limit.” The concept has applications across disciplines but is particularly critical in mathematics. The concept has been at the center of the field since 1655, when John Wallis, a leading mathematician, defined its mathematical symbol. A letter about the course is attached.
The six-session course will be taught online on Saturdays from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Eastern time starting on Saturday, February 20th and ending on March 27th. Ideal for grades 6-8.
