The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial
This memorial was my number one favorite sight- hands down. It honors the civilian lives lost in the 9/11 attacks. Both the people killed on the plane and those killed in the Pentagon are honored. The architectural design of the memorial is very creative, but I'll leave it to you to discover! If I have to recommend any memorial to go see, it would most definitely be this one.

Thomas Jefferson Memorial
Korean War Memorial
Vietnam War Memorial
Monuments and other sites we visited
The Washington Monument
The US Capitol building
The White House
Although we couldn't go inside the actual white house, we got to go to the white house visitors center. The construction of the white house began in 1792 and ended in 1800. It currently serves as the official residence and workplace of President Barak Obama and the first family.
