About Winston Churchill
Winston Churchill's greatest accomplishment was when he was prime minister during WWII.Winston Churchill became Prime minister during WWII because The People thought he was the right person for the job. In 1940, Churchill said his famous "We shall fight on the beaches" speech. "You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life." He said this to address that it is a good thing that they were going against Nazis Germany to stop their world and wanted other nations to join in the fight. When he joined he hoped America would join the war which they did when the Japanese bombed pearl harbor. Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin worked together to stop the axis powers, Germany, Italy and Japan. In 1945, The allies beat German which marked the end of WWII and his time for prime minister until 1951 where he became prime minister again.
