Happy Spring! While it is hard to tell with the light snow that keeps falling, it has been nice to have warmer recess weather the past couple of weeks!
With the slow change in season, it is important to remember our drop-off and pick-up safety measures we began this school year. Please consider:
If you are leaving your car, please park in the lot or on one of the side streets.
If you are staying in your car, please pick up curbside, as students are not allowed in the parking lot without an adult.
You should not park or drop off in the bus lanes at any time during drop off or pick up. This is reserved for buses.
The safest location to drop-off and pick-up your children is curbside along Broadway. This area does not have boulevards.
Please also remember to watch for both students and staff in the crosswalks. Our safety patrol works hard to ensure safe crossing, however, it is important that we are all aware of these locations to make sure that everyone stays safe.
The Wausau School District is currently surveying families from some schools located within the City of Wausau about their transportation to and from school as part of a Safe Routes to School grant. Your child brought the survey home this week. Please complete it and return the survey to John Marshall by Tuesday, April 12.
Thank you for helping us keep all students and families safe coming to and from school!
