FSA Collecting "Rainy Day" Activities for Classrooms

Whether due to rain or heat, on some days students must stay inside the classroom during lunch and play time. The FSA is collecting fun, educational games to stock classrooms with additional options for indoor play. If you would like to contribute, please check out the list of suggestions on the Parents Page. Information: Christine Kim,

Holiday Toy Drive to Benefit Mattel Children's Hospital - through Dec. 17

Play has the power to heal and, for hospitalized children, helps distract them from the medical environment. Chase Child Life's annual holiday toy drive, running through Dec. 17, provides toys and creative art supplies for pediatric patients. The drive is sponsored by UCLA facilities management, the UCLA Health softball league and Staff Assembly. We have collection barrels in the lobby, at carpool and at the entrance to the EC yard. If you'd like to contribute, all toys must be new and unwrapped. Monetary donations should be made in the form of a check made payable to “UC Regents"; indicate "Chase Child Life Program” in the memo section.
