Winter Colds!
Good morning!
In this season of colds, just a couple reminders for our students (especially the younger ones!)
- Please remind your students to wash their hands often and well!
- Show them how to sneeze into their elbow to help contain germs.
- Remind them to stay hydrated!
If your student isn't feeling well and needs to stay home, a call to the office by 8:30 is much appreciated.
Thank you so much, and good luck dodging the germs! :)
Goodbye, Ms. Julie!
Dear Pre-k parents,
As some of you know, I was offered a scholarship through Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for the Medical Assistant program. I’ve been attending classes at CCV since the beginning of the school year. With this scholarship comes the commitment to work for 2 years for BMH. This scholarship was an honor for me to receive!
Unfortunately, I am to start my work commitment this Monday and will no longer be with your beautiful children at SMS. I am greatly saddened to be leaving, however, extremely appreciative for this opportunity.
Please know how very fond I am of your children and how grateful I am to have had this time with them. Each has a place in my heart.
Much love to all!
️Miss Julie
Catholic Schools Week!!!
It's hard to believe but Catholic Schools Week will be here before we know it! We are looking for some creative, crafty volunteers to help us transform four of our bulletin boards during the month of January in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. The 2018 Catholic Schools Week branding is: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.
A themed board for each of these words would be ideal! Let us know if you are interested in being a Board Benefactor! Thank you for sharing your talents with us! * All necessary supplies will be purchased by SMS.*
Catholic Schools Week book swap: Tuesday, 1/30/18 - Read-a-Thon!
The Catholic Schools Week Read-a-thon event is a student favorite! This year, we'd like to offer our families and students the opportunity to swap books to encourage a voracious appetite for reading! This year, please bring in books that are no longer in use in your home. We will set-up a book exchange in Rand Hall for students/families to access throughout the day! Please make sure all books donated are in Very Good to Like New condition. Please no water damage, ripped pages, ripped covers, etc.
Books can be donated in the office beginning January 2nd through Friday, January 19th. Thank you for sharing your library with our SMS community.

Saint Michael School Family seeks loving home for Ducks:
3 drakes and a female.
She still lays 3 or four eggs a week, given enough light stimulation, around solstice and now, with the light from a heat lamp in the coop. They live in a coop attached to a large run with old basins and sled saucers as water features. They don’t fly, not because they are clipped, but because they don’t know they can. 2 Swedes (male and female), 1 Rouen (male), 1 Cayuga (male). They have been together since they were a day old and it would be nice if they stay together.
Not for meat!
Please call 802-275-2678 if interested.
