Welcome Back New and Returning GT Students
I am so excited to begin another year in GT at Pleasant Grove. For those of you that I have not met, I am Mrs. Katie Clark. I will be teaching the Gifted and Talented classes in grades K-5. This will be my fourth year teaching GT with a total of 14 years of teaching experience. I will be on the elementary campus on Monday and Tuesday and at the Intermediate campus on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. My plan is to send out this monthly flyer to you to keep you informed of the exciting things we are doing in GT. Please feel free to email me or call with any questions and concerns. Thank you for sharing your child with me in GT this year. It's going be a great year!!
Gifted and Talented Fundraiser
The GT students will be selling Boomerang Car Wash Cards again this year. This fundraiser has been very successful in the past. All fundraiser money is used to purchase classroom materials and help fund any field trips that we will take this year. Each child is encouraged to sell at least 2 fundraiser cards. Each card is loaded with $15.00 to be used at the car wash. There will be a note sent home soon that will need to be returned with the amount of cards you wish to sell. All money for the fundraiser will be due back by the first week in November. Thank you in advance for supporting the GT program.
